Frequently Asked Questions
Before you email, a few common ones we can answer up front:
- Do you write custom guides on request? No. We follow an editorial calendar driven by readership data and the climate-coverage roadmap. We can't write a one-off guide for a specific reader, but we can tell you which existing guide best fits your situation.
- Can I request that you cover my city next? Yes. Email us with the city and state, and the plants you're most interested in. We log every request and prioritise cities with multiple readers asking.
- Can I write for you? We hire contributors selectively. If you are a working farmer, extension agent, or experienced home grower with documented results in a specific climate, send a brief pitch with two writing samples to info@realfoodgrower.com (subject "Contributor"). We respond to all serious pitches.
- Can I republish or quote your content? Short quotes with attribution and a link back are fine under fair use. Republishing full guides requires written permission. Ask first.
- Do you offer a newsletter? Not yet. When we do launch one, we will announce it on the site — we will not import addresses from email correspondence.
Mailing Address
We operate remotely with contributors across 24 states. A physical mailing address (PO Box) will be published here when we have one suitable for press and legal correspondence. Until then, all written correspondence should go through email.
